Technique: Originally the Alebrijes were elaborated using the cardboard technique, which consists of making a structure of wire or reed, later the modeling of paper and cardboard is carried out; Finally it is painted with combinations of different colors. With the passage of time it spread in other states such as Oaxaca in which they modified the technique by creating alebrijes in carved wood also painted by hand.
